In the last terminal of Marathon 2, Durandal calls the Nahk the "last extant client race of the Jjaro".
If we go with the prevailing theory that the S'pht were also a Jjaro client race, then... wtf? Do the S'pht not count as existing, or what?
On a related note - the Drinniol revolt was apparently the worst slave revolt in Pfhor history, and was put down by the trih xeem. So why do the Drinniol still exist in slavery, when the Nahk were apparently exterminated? And why doesn't Durandal use THEM as his example of the trih xeem?
And this brings up another interesting topic... there are a lot more races in Marathon than the big 3 we normally think of. The list that I can pull up off the top of my head are:
Humans - us
Pfhor - them
S'pht - duh
Drinniol - Hulks, once caused the worst slave revolt in Pfhor history, put down by Trih Xeem
Nar - ancient yet primitive enemies of the Pfhor, with a renowned prophet Robnar, and privateers
Vylae - bought Leela from Nar privateers, then she went rampant in their network
Nebulons - apparently hated or at least disregarded by everyone, especially Drinniol
Nahk - "last extant race of the Jjaro", fell into Pfhor control, rebelled and got trih xeemed
Chokesians - Harassed human colony workes on Tau Ceti (mb those things from the old PiD-like beta?)
Am I forgetting anyone here?
