I wish I could take credit for having the presence of mind to give Ernie that gentle mental nudge but I have to admit that I was blindly following my genetic coding that predisposes me to repeatedly meow, "Let me in", "Let me out", "Let me in", "Let me out", "Let me in", "Let me out"," Let me in", "Let me out" only in this particular instance I had a mouth full of kibble so when I meowed, "Let me in", it sounded to him like I said, "Ernie, I never did hear back from you about the T-shirt I ordered, does this offer still stand?"
