Talk about stupid questions, I just asked you in your "a few pictures to look at" thread if it was going to be a chapter screen... which you just answered here.
One of the cool things about Marathon scenario creation is that it requires you to stretch yourself in so many different directions: technophile, artist, author, gamer, philosopher, and so on. One is forced to be disciplined, organized and consistent while at the same time letting their creative juices flow. Everyone should at least try to make a scenario. It doesn't have to compete with all the "big time world class" scenarios out there that I think tend to stifle folks who can't compete or don't have the time or resources to make a full blown, all out, world changing scenario. Make something you enjoy doing and it will show through. An ounce of enjoyment is worth more than a pound of TI and a cool idea doesn't have to take 20 Megs to download.
