OS X is not OS 9. Unfortunatelly you can't just take driver folders and plop them around like it was done in 9...this is both a blessing and a curse, but to try and stay short, what you need to do is re-install most of your OS X and print services software.
i.e. Using your Jaguar CDs, start the install process, but instead of doing a regular install, go to options and choose the Install with Archive and Preserve Users...it's under one of the Options buttons before the actual install process starts. You can also then customize what parts to install, but a default installation should be fine as well...You may need to re-install some of your other items afterwards, but if you were a good OS X user and kept most of your stuff within your home/user folder, you should be fine. Also, backing up stuff while you can (i.e. before starting to re-install) is always a good idea. Good luck...Panther should also install just fine afterwards, on top...
