The EV series is great for a space action/rpg. EV classic's graphics are pretty brutally bad, but its still very playable, EV Override is on the same engine as classic and thus isn't much better in the grpahics but is still good. EV Nova though has very reasonable graphics and is is lots of fun, its shareware so dl it and try it for 30 days.
