Texans - ahh, that explains the mess we're in. Although wasps and lookers play a prominent role in Rubicon, this is just Chris' and Scott's interpretation. Since their blood/body fluids are not green, I am not so sure that they are Pfhorish - not that all Earth's creatures bleed red. My interpretation is that the Pfhor will employ, modify and genetically engineer any life form that they find useful. Apparently they managed to train or reprogram the wasps and lookers to attack anything and everything that isn't Pfhor. Flichta may just be impractical to use as such - they're big, dumb and unpredictable. And maybe 17 years wasn't enough time to modify them.

Additionally, consider that the Pfhor already attacked Lh'owon and bombarded it with enough radiation to exterminate the remaining S'pht, but the Flichta survived. They may just be too difficult to kill.
