Well, you have me there! Lookers and wasps seemed kind of ridiculous to begin with, and Bungie quickly had them stricken from the record come M2 time! I always thought they were Pfhor homeworld natives, which would make them a bit more desirable in the eyes of the Pfhor. They would've known how to feed, contain and generally take good care of them. As far as Texans go... Well, I never finished the trilogy on Total Carnage, perhaps I missed something? =)

Perhaps the Flickta were only meant to move around in media, but that became another thing that was cut from the game. Ther fireballs are understandable when the red ones are actually standing in the lava (which, conversely, isn't entirely understandable =) but I always got a bit dissapointed when they pulled one on me over dry land.
