You mean the "This century intentionally left blank" in the Marathon timeline? It's generally assumed that noting actually happened there, least of all the Halo wars due to the inconsistencies in technology. They already have FTL drives in Halo (aka Shaw-Fujikawa drives, IIRC) while it took the Marathon 300 years to travel 92 light years.
