Well now, it seems you've encountered a bit of a problem. See, thing is, the only MSN version that will connect itself to the server (on my computer NEways) is the latest, namely 3.5.1 if you've got OSX or 2.5 for OS9. I most commonly use the latter. If you don't upgrade MSN, it won't connect... So I gather that even if you do manage to install an older version of MSN, it won't connect. I haven't tried it yet, but a rapid query on www.versiontracker.com brought Sparkech's Mac Messenger. Maybe that'll work out, they say you only need Mac OS 8.5. It being during the week, I have no mac with which to test it for you, but I gather you'll manage that bye yourself...
