Yeah, those Troopers are a bear. The sad thing is that they occur at the very end of the level. It's not a short level at all. You can imagine how annoying it is to get all the way to the end and have those Troopers do you in. :( As I told Sidoh, the key is to keep circling, don't stop, keep circling, while the Troopers at the other end of the hallway make their way down to where you are circling. Even so, you want to know the truth? As I have said many times. I don't care how good a player is....vidding a difficult level ALWAYS includes a certain degree of luck. That was the case in my film. I was lucky and was able to dodge most of the Trooper grenades. That's why I kept prodding Sidoh. I told him to keep trying...that one time things will go his way. As for his disapperance from the Marathon scene, i imagine the things you refer to probably are taking some of his time. :) Also from the conversations he and I had, like me, he was obsessed with this game. So it's possible that Marathon began to infringe on his schooltime. That's definitely a recipe for taking a vacation from it. : Out of curiosity, does it involve making use of some help from the troopers? Actually, that's not what I had in mind, though now that you mention it, that does have possibilities. The jump over to the recharger is not a large one. If you have seen Sidoh's film of "Curiouser and Curiouser" from M2, he came up with a very clever way to use the Trooper grenades to launch himself across the sewage to the switches that raise those tall platforms. That same technique would probably work here as well. What I had in mind was getting one of the Compilers bolts to provide the necessary boost to get yourself over there. You can almost jump all the way without any help. Perhaps the Compiler bolt would be enough to just get you onto that platform. If you have seen my film of "We're Everywhere" from M2, you know what technique I am talking about. Unfortunately, the player gets only one shot at it. Once you fall down to the floor, I am not sure that the Compiler bolts are strong enough to get you back up there.
