Marathon The Movie

If I correctly remember sometimes ago I read e thread concerning a possible total conversion for M1 to the silver screen. It was something about a script for a movie.
Anyone remembers or knows more?
I mean, they made a movie out of resident evil (and I loved that movie) whay they shouldn't do it from Marathon?
