In Response To: Evil Volunteers: Mangle Him Really (Mark Levin) : There's some other fun stuff hidden
Yes, that weapons gallery is an awful temptation. Now where's that physics model that would let me slip in through the window . . . Actually, there is a terminal nearby that explains that the weapons have been locked down by Dent (rank not specified at ths time), the same person who issues your wakeup call and tells you to get to the bridge, then to abandon ship. We're going to be hearing more from this Dent in coming levels, introducing what in my opinion is the first plot inconstincey of many - but it's an interesting subplot nonetheless. The future aside, one has to wonder why in the world the weapons would be locked down. One would think that they would be critically needed in this time of crisis. Perhaps Dent suspects sabotage and fears that someone might use them to prevent a successful evacuation, but that's a longshot. Or perhaps Dent isn't exactly on the side of the UESC . . . |
