: ...or the difference between a picky and a not-picky player :P
Goran - Nice to have your input!
Believe me, I'm not denegrating Frigidman and the Evil Group for the work they did on Evil. The maps remain among the best in Marathondom, at least in the case of some of the levels. It was an amazing accomplishment for the time, but when compared to Tempus Irae, which has a much more consistent story and all new textures, albeight more significant map design problems, it's hard to place it in the same league. Neither of these can hold a candle to M Rubicon - differences of opinion aside - Rubicon is the most polished 3rd party project out there in terms of story, map layout, textures and sprites, even though Chris still doesn't get it when it comes to differential shading. Of course, Rubicon came along much later and was able to benefit from everyone else's learning curve. The most amazing accomplishment overall is Trojan, which introduced all new textures and sprites and gave us memorable maps, all before Forge and Anvil existed. Now if only I could get an M2 verstion to play using AO.
Am I being picky - definitely! That's what this forum is all about.
