One of the things I really have always loved about this level was the fact that start the senario off by crashing through a wall to gain acess to the area of attack. The ship looks more like the Jolly Rpger then a space ship, but what can you do.
It really sets the feel of the scenario: kick the door down! You are presented with instructuions on each level and just ram head long in to the melee. Action confronts you around every corner. This level is light on the tricks(compared to what is to come), but the courtyards look realistic and have great play.
Although simple it still is leaps and bounds above many of the maps out there in visual style. The story is your average third party story so far. Do this soldier, kill that soldier.
It has been stated, but the lighting has been a little to radically done here. Great for a space ship or even night(try it, looks good), but hard to fit in the day time.
The underground tunnels feel like they should and present the other half of the scenrio's style: Big/ open vrs. Tight/cramped. Some may argue this is any scenario. Here they are done in exstremes. But it does not hinder the game play, so it all works out.
