Audio Similarities in tracks 00 and 14 *LINK*

I'm still treading water at the surface of this rabithole, so I can't make any connections or connotations for what this could mean but I know the rose level is drowning in significance. Out no real noteworthy inspiration this lead to me wanting to mix my favorite track in the first game (14_spirals) with the the levels track (00_AliensAgain), a lot of the tracks numberings are peculiar (we go from 07 to 08 finally to 02 in the first 3 levels) but the Rose track having claim to 00 explicitly intrigued me. Spiral's also sounds uniquely muted, a very subtle yet strong piece. Playing them together I am further intrigued. I'm no audiophile so I don't have the proper terms for this, but they go up together and they go down together. The synchronization isn't perfect but they sound good together as well. I have provided the files in the link, one is synched for the beginning and the other for the end.
The file hosting is not permanent so if this holds any weight someone should make it so, if not please disregard :)
