You may use any of the files in Weland's level/ directory for your proof of concept directly, as long as you share any changes you make to them. That will get you started loading maps at least.

For the time being, perhaps it's enough to export the textures from ShapeFusion, rather than trying to load the shapes file. If not, you can use the files in Weland's shapes/ directory as inspiration, or go back to the revision for which I was the sole author of the files, and use the same exception.
