In Greg's last interview, he famously admitted that he didn't remember what Infinity's story was about, or various other unwritten Marathon lore. That makes it hard for 2023-Bungie to make a new game that fits with it. How much does Jason care? What if he tried techniques to stimulate Greg and the other writers' memory? What if he tracked down all the original team that made Infinity; paid them to meet in the original Double Aught office; and put them under hypnosis? Could that dredge up enough to serve as a foundation for new canon? Did Jason ever consider it? How many of the others would be likely to agree to it?
