Would the flamethrower in newer builds of Marathon Redux be updated to work like a realistic flamethrower? (With the acceptable unrealistic traits being not being burned by your own fire and being able to use it as a jetpack)
That's how Sgt Mark IV made his flamethrower for Brutal Doom V21, although it does work a bit too realisticall as it doesn't have M1 Classic's benefits, while the Marathon Redux one would have the best of both worlds, on top of the new secondary fire from the alpha (also long range).
Flames left behind by Marathon Redux's flamethrower are optional as it could cause trouble on maps with Bobs and/or friendly monsters unless Bobs at least were immune to standing flames only. (but where's the fun in that?;) )
Second question is: why is there a giant potato growing in the east maintenance duct? It appears to be intruding on some pipes and has bits of metal stuck in it, unless it's a fan made sprite for the CRIST sol orbiters?
It could also be the pfhor shuttles in the new skybox but I don't know as they are too far away to see clearly, even in M1 Classic.
