That makes sense. He should have worded it "the cliched elements of the plot" though as he would have seen a few of the good parts. Or maybe he was also playing System Shock when he got stuck on the Colony Ship for sale lift puzzle and mistakenly likened Durandal to a male version of SHODAN when he stopped, considering his speeches in that map.
