Transporting the Dyurandaru sword through the monolith was not a dirty joke this time; it was a play on the sword and monolith crater's names.

How Luna and her friend Artemis have sentience may well be connected to said denizens of that colony. (ref. The Hard stuff rules Node 2)

Usagi appears to be connected with other companions our nameless (Cyborg?) has run into across 5D space. The names of the first two are coded and the latter one is in Latin.
