Ok that makes sense.

In Ron Hunsinger's case he must have dropped the three extra Alien Gemstones because he thought the Lead Box could only hold one. He wrote:

Even so, it was a hassle to get all four gemstones out, since the Lead Box will only hold one.

In that case he would not have ended the game with an extra $162.0 in his inventory. You could only end up with this if you have all four Alien Gemstones in the Lead Box.

Can you get me a screenshot of 4 Gemstones in your Lead Box?
