Interesting point. The manual refers to the Fusion Pistol as having a battery pack and that the second trigger will charge the internal MicroFuse Reaction Core. It is conceivable that the B.U bar indicates that the charge is full and ready to be discharged, i.e. the second trigger function will now work. Perhaps this early version of the Fusion Pistol didn't work the same way as the one in the final release. We know the graphic was changed which suggests something was changed.
