Hmm, now I'm curious to see if I'd get the same effect if I use Soundflower and Audacity to do the 1-machine recording! I have a couple other things to check out too. Since you have a full set of tracks (albeit with volume issues), can you hold off until I record some more, and then we can compare notes?
