In Response To: Re: Was the cyborg really born on Mars? (Marathoner325)

: One possibility that has often been explored, which you mentioned, is that he
: is also the protagonist from Pathways into Darkness; this would mean that
: his childhood on Mars was really just implanted memories as much evidence
: given throughout the trilogy point to him being one of the ten
: Battleroids/Mjolnir cyborgs that were hidden aboard the Marathon. I think
: that his past truly was implanted and he was one of the Battleroids that
: are mentioned in the level "Beware of Low-flying Defense
: Drones". Durandal likely accessed data on the Battleroids aboard the
: Marathon during his rampancy. If he was the protagonist from Pathways,
: then he could have just died of natural causes.

Ya i believe that theory as well.

I have always thought of PiD as apart of the Marathon series (i.e Marathon 0). There are already several connections between PiD and the Marathon Trilogy.

Since i think the cyborg is eddings then he must have been born on Earth.

I started this topic to see what your guys opinion on this forum was, on where the cyborg was born.

I wish i could play PiD on the PC (im a pc dude). I do know there is a Aleph One version of PiD in the works but it is taking FOREVER and probably will not be finished.
