The real issue is finding someone to maintain a revived site. Redoing and reactivating the old sites will only do so much unless they are updated often. Any volunteers for the job?

But, providing a maintainer appears, what sites would we like to see revived? Mr. Lund has named a few by why not have a more comprehensive list. From a new, centralized Marathon.Bungie.Org I personally think these sites are the ones that should be given the most attention and linked to:

Marathon Open Source - AlephOne
Marathon's Story - while its not updated anymore its basically a giant repository of all Marathon knowledge
The Orphanage - Cat Hunter on the Pfhorums has been working with this, so I'm sure he'd be up for helping out somewhat
Marathon Story Forum - why not have a direct link to it?
The Pfhorums - again, why not have a direct link?
Traxus Wiki - everyone has a wiki nowadays...
Simplici7y - the new fileball so to speak

Now, the major lifeline of Marathon (I think) is the 3rd party scenarios. While scenario news was awesome, I think its safe to say there are not enough scenarios left to make the site worth doing. Instead, why not combine Scenario News and M.B.O.? On the page for M.B.O we could have three sections: News, Links, Scenarios.

In the links we could have the line up of useful sites:
Marathon Open Source
Marathon Story Forum
The Pfhorums
Simplici7y
Traxus Wiki
The Orphanage
The Marathon Story Page

In news we have basically any and all Marathon news.

For the scenarios, could we possibly have completed scenarios and an in progress section? I can't think of any others of hand but I know we could throw MaraPiD and Eternal Omega into the in progress section.

So what does everyone think? Anyone ready and willing to revive M.B.O?
