That can lead to a fair bit of annoyance. For Linux users, it can be tricky getting Lua built in; there's the network issues with embedded Lua... frankly, it's a Bad Idea. You'd be relying on an optional feature to do something which can already be done using core functionality. That's not to say Lua shouldn't ever be used, but it needs long, hard thought before the decision.
