I don't understand this logic at all. They just give people access to a month worth of goodness from the internet, and make a living out of it. They hurt noone in doing this. This is totally standard by any publishing company, not only MacWorld. If developers don't want their work on Magazine CD's they state so in the readme. It's a win win win situation. The publisher gets a fair share, the developer gets customers/advertisment for free, the reader gets software.
