I remember in your notes in the old walkthrough you described a lot of problems with this level. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. On the upside, I was able to complete the level without taking any additional damage once the admiral got squashed. The problem I ran into was when I went gunning for the troopers and foolishly let them surround me in that narrow hallway. I'd saved right before that part, so at least the bug isn't fatal :-)
