: called Hamachi. What this program does is allow you to creat a virtual
: private LAN over a broadband connection. It is very safe and very secure.
: The most prominent feature of this program is that you can play LAN games
: over it. Does anyone see the potential here? When you use it, it allows
: you to create a LAN over the internet. When playing the Marathon series
: over this LAN, the Host needs to turn on autogather and has to remind
: those on his or her network to turn off "Join By Address". the
: connection is faster and there is almost no Lag (if you have a 768Kb/s
: connection like me it will lag if you are hosting the game). The Aleph One
: Versions have to match as well i think. If you are playing Marathon II:
: Durandal and Marathon Infinity, you need to turn off the feature that
: allows you to broadcast the game over the internet.
