In Response To: Trojan Volunteers - Say It With Grenades (Steve Levinson)

Yes, I agree. Although this level is not nearly as hard as the last level (at least for me given the way I play), I actually had to "practice" this particular level over and over again until I was satisfied with my performance. I was eventually able to complete this level having used just over two AR magazines and one grenade. Even so, the single grenade was used only to launch myself onto a small raised area to obtain a small ammo cache. Having no PB on this level is bad enough, but then the player has to fight through several enemies on the next level to reach the first PB there. Granted, you shouldn't be leaving this level without 3x shields, and the enemies at the beginning of Electric are not that tough, but it still strikes me as a bit unfair to design the levels this way (at least on Total Carnage).

: Unfortunately, Trojan has not one but 2 levels that lack a PB,
: and that's a bit much. I consider this to be a true flaw in what would
: otherwise be an outstanding level.
