I like the idea of the inaccurate handguns with a high rate of fire...more realistic. Or just have the .50 calibre gun but with not so much ammo per magazine. The .357 cartridge can be used in semi-auto handguns, just look at the Desert Eagle. And if the Pfhor can withstand shots from a .44 magnum, the 9mm must be near worthless if it was used in a handgun.
Or, better yet, just go the Marathon RED route and make all the guns really powerful (OK, so the hyper accurate SMGs with 90-round magazines were really cheap, I must admit). Come on, just keep the .50 calibre...always wanted to use one of those in a Marathon mod :D
