I just had a thought for a quickie. As you probably know, we did a volunteers series on M RED some months ago and we put together a list of fixes that would make RED more playable for the masses without detracting from gameplay or from its difficulty overall. With Ian's permission, Mark Levin took on the project of implementing these fixes and released RED 1.1b1, which John Sumner and I then beta tested. There a very small number of remaining issues - the list should still be available on the forum through a search. Even if you go ahead with Escape!! 3 or join one of the other scenarios, I think this would be a short, simple project that would earn the tremendous gratitude of all Marathon-kind. The beta was available on Mark's server, but never uploaded to Fileball or any of the other sites. If you need it, I could certainly send it to you. If you do take this on, don't forget to modify the credit terminal to acknowledge Mark's and your role.
