Are you saying that a map need to have "holes" in it in order for things to respawn? That might be possible, since the original problem level and the test levels I've made since were all single-room levels...

BTW: I trashed every single copy, version, and variant of Forge + the prefs this morning in an attempt at getting rid of whatever was causing the problem. ;)

Oh well.. time to reinstall Forge. Hopefully, your suggestion will make things work. B)
