In Response To: Opening .bin files? (HamburgerBoy)

: I'm just wondering, are there any relatively simple programs for opening .bin
: files like a .zip, .hqx, or .sit file or maybe a convertor? Playing all
: the scenarios on Aleph One is great, and I'm almost done with Evil, but
: all the Rubicon and Tempus Irae files are in .bin format and give an error
: when I try to uncompress them.

If it's in .bin format, it's a Mac version, and will probably need some modification to run correctly.

IIRC 2000, Pfh'J is only available in the form of an installer program; you can't get at the data files directly without installing it on a real or emulated Mac.

Someone made a complete Rubicon package that runs on Windows; you can just get that once Fileball is back up.
