: HA! THATS THE NAME OF IT! Phforte! I used that to make countless maps for
: Marathon 1.

: I remember I made a ship once, with a door that goes out into space. I made
: it a huge room with juggernaughts in it, and everything was the space
: texture, and it was a landscape. It was pretty strange looking, and it
: made my computer freeze sometimes.

Thats why you need to use forge. It works much better for beginers and has more control in visual mode. Once you get the hang of it, map making becomes easy. The hard part is getting around making every thing look too simple by our modern standards.
But lucky for us many have tread the map mking path proir to our endevours and a wealth of information was left by them. belive me ther is mre then you can imagine, it just needs hunting out.

cheers,
Ellio7t
