That "on rails" feel pretty much stays the same. Granted, some of the outdoor areas are more open-ended, and you can wander around and choose what order to hit encounters in, but indoors it's appalingly linear.

And if you ever do get lost, chances are there are freakin' glowing arrows painted on the floor pointing you in the right direction.

Wish I was kidding.
