I feel really really stupid but..

I cannot get M1A1 to play right. I've looked all over the internet for help, but it seems like it's just so simple to play it that no one has ever asked this question. I used the Mi Maps, Images, Shapes, etc.whatever files to run A1, but it just plays Marathon infinity. I want to play Marathon 1, darnit! What do I do...
