Sprite sequence help
Posted By: ErnieDate: 6/20/04 9:35 p.m.

Another issue that drives one to the end of their rope...

I decided today to make an Pfhor tripod Light. I took the glowing end used in one of Craig Mullins works (where the Marine is preparing to backhand an Pfhor Enforcer) and created three sequence:

Idle, 1 frame, one view. The tripod sitting pretty.
Dying: 4 frames, one view. The top shattering.
Dead: 1 frame, one view. The top shattered.

Now, this occupies an entire collection, with it's customized colortable. The Tick collection (0, 1 2, *3*rd collection) is where it exists.

It has 0 movement in it's physics file and is friends of all monsters, thus: is destructible scenery.
Now, after numerous attempts, I cannot make this monster have a dying sequence, nor "dead" sequence. You can shoot the monsters, and it does "die" - but simply flies backwards, forever maintaining it's idle sequence. No dying, no dead. Damn, damn damn. : D

Any idea why? All sequences are properly entered into the physics file. Are they're any particular timing in ticks that should be entered in for it's Sequences in the Shape file it's self? I've tried using all the same vales from the Hunters, Bob, and Pfhor's idle, dying, dead sequences, but to no avail.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
Regards,
-Blayne [ernie]
