I don't think the switches are so bad, mostly because you are required to figure them out very quickly to make any progress at all in the level.

I don't remember the first time water cannons were used, but I don't think it was in RED.

Are you sure they're immune to the Mercury? I could have sworn I've killed them before with it. Maybe it's another difference between the Infinity and Aleph versions. (Or my memory is wrong :P )
