In Response To: Disaster Strikes (K-chi)

: I must relate to you the tragic tale of the destruction of Durandal. In fact,
: that's kind of a pun. Okay I finished Ingue Ferroque tonight. About ten
: minutes ago, in fact. And within that ten minutes I completely destroyed
: any chances for playing M2.

: Okay so I was going merrily along, happy that I'd finally beaten my beloved
: game. I was all excited for the sequel. So here I am, putting in this M2
: CD into the CD drive, when suddenly noticing it was cracked. All the way
: through. Nearly through the middle. The drive closed, I hear this loud
: CRACK, and the M2 CD comes out in one half. Sliced. The other half...?
: Hidden somewhere in the computer I guess. I am in so much trouble. This is
: not my comptuer. I'm dead. It was nice knowing you all. Well actually I
: only posted once and don't know any of you, but here I am and there I go.
: Bye.

::the Battle Cat removes his helmet and holds it to his chest::

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to mourn the passing of our best friend and comrad, K'chi, the guy we hardly knew at all from the one post he made about something or other. We will never forget his quick wit, his burning questions, his lyrical prose, or his rapier like satirical gotcha's... well, mainly because we never heard them. But still we will eventually sorely miss that which we will be deprived of in the future because of the lack of it that occurred here in the present. K'chi, (that's you boy, stand up straight and spit out that gum you idjit) our honored, respected, and soon to be fallen hero, was doofus enough to play with the original CD rather than a copy, jam a cracked CD into a computer that was not his, and is now waiting to get his ass reamed to the size of the Holland Tunnel by the 250 pound, red faced, white knuckled, shrieking computer owner and weight lifter, Hefty (Butcher) McArmbreaker. Dust to dust, ashes to ashes, and teeth all over the floor. May God have mercy on his retched soul.

Amen.

Gary Simmons
