The two pieces that Mark mentioned seem to inspire love-hate reactions in people. People either like the sort of heavy-handed symbolism of the sword, or they think it's, well, just heavy-handed symbolism. I like the way it looks, but it's a bit obvious, and a wee bit too metaphysical compared to the other chapter screens. I look at it as the chapter art equivalent of the Gherrit White term: neither seems to exactly fit with the rest of the game, they're both kinda weird, but they're kinda cool.
The Rebellion screen is admittedly a little sloppy, and needs to be gone over to tie the different pieces together a bit better. I didn't make any real effort to make any parts of the Pfhor anatomy match aside from the heads... look at the arms etc. and you'll see a bunch of differnet details, like each has a custom-made skeleton. The hands I wanted to have a mix of rigid and flexible elements, with the fingers being almost like tentacles with a reinforcing framework of cartilage or something similar. They do grip differently than a human hand.
A lot of people see the Pfhor as being insectile, but they always looked softer to me, so I've gone with a sort of cuttlefish look for lot of the softer areas with a lot of obvious bony/shell-like exo- and endo-skeleton showing. Dunno how well that comes across.
