Marathon 2 Server?

Greetings -
I'm buddies with a guy who owns a game server hosting company and I got the idea to try and setup a Marathon 2 internat game server. I would like to use their existing VPN to do this and was wondering if anyone here would be willing to help me support it and most likley a modern Forums site to accompy it.
I have yet to talk to my buddy about this and am not sure about the inheirant security risks involved with this type of project. However, if I do get his permission I will need people to help maintain it and assist others in gettingtheir VPN client software configured properly.
