isnt the AI in the convenant ship just a copy of one of the humans AI. Its like a convenant guy right. Or is it a malfuctioned human AI?

: So Cortana and the boys capture a Convenant ship. On board this ship is a
: human AI that the Covenant are using, but it is malfunctioning and isn’t
: very effective. Cortana removes the AI, and manages to use the current
: Covenant technology to turn their plasma weapons into long range plasma
: cannons that basically trash the other ships in the region. Now, doesn’t
: this all sound a little like Marathon 2: Durandal?
: I am a little rusty, but as I recall, after you captured a Pfhor ship,
: Durandal modified the Pfhor weapons into longer range cannons that he used
: to destroy a good portion of a fleet. He runs into a version of Tycho, a
: human AI, and destroys him as well. Then again, you crash Tychos ship into
: a moon and carve his epitaph on the surface with an orbital strike.
