In Response To: SoNK Volunteers - B'Rak Power Station (Steve Levinson)

I thought this level looked quite interesting when I was first dropped into it, being a more "natural" space with structures interspersed through it, but getting out of the initial arena was a frustrating challenge for me. I finally opened the level with a map editor, realised where a secret door had to be, and headed for it in the game to realise it wasn't quite as secret as I had imagined. I suppose I was thinking too much in terms of switches or circuits to find.

Once I was through the first hurdle, though, the rest of the map didn't seem quite as hard to navigate... although I did do a lot of running back and forth, trying to figure out what I had just opened up. As has been said, I found the square blocks you have to find your way up interesting, and the final staircase an impressive piece of work. However, I managed to reach the final terminal without realising I had reached the end: I had left a few areas unexplored, including the elevator blocked off by the three blocks. (I had thought to go back to it later; perhaps I would have eventually figured out that the centre block retracts as a mere door, and doesn't have to be remotely operated.)
