In Response To: Death to the Controller-S (David Mauro) : What more do I need to say. The Ses were dominated by the originals. =) Eh, I definetly can't agree with you there. When I bought my Xbox on release day, I got 3 original controllers. For a long time I was happier than a pig in crap. They were great. I was glad to finally have a controller that filled up my hands. I also revelled in the fact that most other people I knew hated them. Sturdy, chunky, smooth. Great controllers. Then one day I walked into my local gamestop and decided to pick up a controller-s for my wife, or any girl or person with small hands that might end up being intimidated or having a hard time with the gargantuan original controller. I used the controller-s once or twice, and yeah it was nice, and no, I didn't really feel like I had a preference of one or the other...but more and more I found myself using the controller s. Those three original contollers? Virtually brand spanking new. They stay for the most part untouched. I still don't balk at being handed the ol' chunky controller, but if given the choice, I won't use anything but the controller-s. And tell me why then, if the original did in fact stomp the controller-s, is MS is switching to selling the Xbox with the controller-s instead of the original? {{{{{{{=) -W | |
