| I'm back..finally. | |

In Response To: Bungie Fanfest Update #1 (Shishka) Well, I am finally back from LA. Fanfest was awesome, the little Master Chief action figure was worth the trip. :) Very quick summary. I lucked out and got to meet Louis and Miguel at the airport in Cincinnati. We got to talk a little before we boarded the plane. Once we landed in LA, I got to meet CYBRFRK, mnemesis and Finn. Here is where I made my mistake, my family drove to Santa Monica and checked into our room. Instead of taking a nap, we went to the pier(big mistake). So when it came time for the Fanfest I was exhausted. Drove to the Convention Center, I was so excited I forgot my camera...Doh! We wandered around outside the south hall trying to figure out where to go. Suddenly a pack of blue <3 shirts appeared and we followed them to the correct location. Stood in line for awhile, then we were lead back to the arena, with a big smile on my face. Watched the trailer, came out got the mini action figure...very cool. Caught the special Red vs. Blue. Watched the Discovery channel documentary(a lot of info there). Watched the Question & Answer while my son was bugging me to go play Halo PC. Got owned on Halo PC. Got owned on Halo MP, no...owned is not strong enough, got raped on Halo MP. Stupid S-controllers... Talked to Randy Glass, very nice person. Collapsed in a corner. When got a little of my strength back played some more Halo PC and Crimson Skies. Won a copy of FoR, HTF and the strategy guide in the raffle. Shuffled back to the car and collasped at the hotel. Spent the next two days having "Family Fun" then travelled all day on Sunday back home. I missed a lot at the Fanfest but saw a lot of cool stuff too. | |
