Yes, it was the Hog that the MC was in, in the area where the Ghosts are first spotted. One of the Ghosts made a break for the right and Jaime spun the turret around, taking aim and blowing it to smithereens. That's when the Marine proceeded to run over it and flip the Hog. For the life of me, I honestly can't remember whether he died or not. I think the demo might have just reverted automatically after the vehicle flipped, or perhaps it fell onto Jaime, crushing him. In any case, from what I saw the Marine AI didn't seem to be extremely adept at avoiding obstacles just yet, as the event almost happened again the second time around as well. That, or the Marine was set on a predefined course of some sort and not actually implementing the AI, I couldn't tell. No worries though, Bungie will surely have worked out all these piddling little snags out in the months to come. | |
