Jeez. What do you say to something like this?
I'd like to thank you Matt, for being an all-around cool human being. I want to say thanks for taking the time and making the effort to keep us, Bungie's fan community, in the loop and informed about important developments.
I assure you that you will be missed. I for one will particularly miss your maddening ability to say just enough to leave us going, "What? What do you mean by that? Wait, come back!!"
I think that one of the reasons Bungie enjoys such a loyal and creative fan base is because it takes care of its fans. For eight years, you have looked after us. It won't be the same without you.
So, best of luck in your new endeavours. I'm sorry to see you go, but I am sure that you are making the right choice for yourself. Come back and visit us once in a while; we'll leave a light on for you.
