I don't want to name names but the example I can : think of is with the release of Windows 2000. The release was delayed from : many reasons, but the responsibility fell upon a few who had a problem : with saying NO. What I mean by "NO" is saying NO to new : features. At some point, new features must be discarded in relation to the : need to meet release dates. So in the case of Windows 2000, some people : resigned and shortly after that, the new management ripped out many of the : new features that were delaying the schedule. We as Bungie fans should : keep this in mind and be vocal in our support of Bungie and whatever : release schedule they decide is necessary for Halo 2. So I will say that I : am happy to wait until 2004 for Halo 2 if that is what Bungie wants. Bungie is doing what it wants...so don't worry about MS. : Second, Sony Playstation 3 has been announced for Christmas 2003 (I heard : this on the news, but haven't confirmed it myself). This has nothing to do : with Halo 2, but XBOX vendors makes money on the games, not so much the : consoles -- many of the newest and best games are becoming available on : XBOX, Playstation 2, and Gamecube. I own all three, so I don't care but if : I only could buy one of the consoles, my decision would be greatly : influenced by what games were available for the console. Halo is XBOX : exclusive and not having it an option at Christmas 2003 could very well : hurt XBOX sales which in the long run hurts XBOX game sales. I'm serious : when I say that Bungie holds a lot of influence with Halo 2, maybe they : could consider making a kickass Halo 2 demo that would ship with XBOXES : sold at Christmas. PS3 in 2003...umm NO. I'm sure Xbox will have something else they'll do to gain buyers during Christmas time. : No Bungie XBOX stuff at Christmas 2003 makes me sad. :( Can't argue with you their, but Halo 2 not being rushed makes me glad.
