Go ahead and make the list. We just finished an accurate accounting of every line in the game. As far as the marine combat dialog goes, there are four unique marines and two unique sarges. Each one has about 800 to 1000 lines. You do the math. The crewman also has a pile, but not quite as many. The best way to see what actually plays in the game is to play through on easy, restart multiple times from a checkpoint and try not to fight too much. Stay with your marines, get a different sarge or marine to get in the warthog(one at a time). Have them be a gunner for awhile and then a passenger.

Each time you restart from a checkpoint you should get new lines if they're available. It's fun to play the Halo level and just watch Johnson for example. Follow him around pretend you're shooting a documentary on his life.

Also, understand that while each character might have had the same basic script to work from, each actor improvised unique lines and sometimes just had subtle differences in words or delivery. Such as Bisenti saying "There's more where that came from!" and Mendoza saying "Hey, there's more where that came from amigo!"
